Discovery the magic of Alentejo on the Great Lake of Alqueva
The Amieira Marina is located by the Amieira village in the Portel city council, in the heart of Alentejo. This project, exclusively touristic, in preparation since 2004, initiating activity since de 1st of June 2006.
Amieira Marina has all the typical services of a marina, such as boat parking in water and land, workshop, coffee shop with terrace, convenience store and a panoramic restaurant. In addition, Amieira Marina has its core-business in the rental oh house-boats, whose fleet is composed by 15 boats.
This concept, being new in Portugal, allow you to enjoy the beauties of the Great Lake and its Lakeside Villages, in boats with capacity from 2 to 12 people, with all the comfort, enjoying from short stays of one day, to test, or stays of several days or weeks, to well known the region. Driving the boat, with no driving license, with adequate training made by our services, you can navigate with an extremely security. Fishing, swimming, cannoning, the lakeside villages gastronomy, the bicycle trips or simple rest, guarantee the absence of monotony. With the house-boats, in family or between friends, you can live an unforgettable experience.
