9 DAYS IN PORTUGAL
Day 1 - Transfer from Lisbon’s airport to the
hotel.
Depending on the time of arrival, it is made the check
in and the Lisbon’s tour begins. In the day of arrival you are free to have a
walk around Lisbon, to meet downtown or to visit a place like the Oceanarium.
This is only possible to do after we know the hour that your flight arrives.

- City Tour Lisboa –Departure
from the hotel at 9:00.We’ll start to see the Eduardo VII’s
Park, Jerónimos’s Monastery, Belém’s Cake (Pastel de Belém), Belém’s Tower, Descobrimentos’s
Monument, S. Jorge’s Castel, Mouraria, Alfama, Lisbon’s Downtown. Return to the
hotel; Departure from the hotel at 19:00, passing through AvenidasNovas (New
Avenues) to Nation’s Park (Parque das Nações). Then, we’ll go to Restaurant in Alfama to have dinner and listen to some Fado!
( As an option, you
can choose to go directly to the restaurant to enjoy more the trip until the
dinner)
Day 2 - Tour Fátima - Departure
from the hotel at 9:00 to visit to the
house where the 3 little shepherds used to live in Aljustrel and then, the Sanctuary. Free
time (there’s a beautiful wax museum with amazing stories about Fátima that
could be visited). Lunch. We can stay more time in Fátima and return directly to
Lisbon or, if we left Fátima earlier, there’s time to visit Batalha’s Monastery
and then Óbido’s Village to walk around and have a tasting of the traditional
liquor, Ginjinha. Return to Lisbon and to the hotel.
Day 3 - Tour Sintra -
Cascais - Departure from the hotel at 9:00 with a stop in the center of
Sintra’s Village. You’re able to visit the National Palace of Sintra, have a walk
in his old streets, and try the famous Travesseiros and Queijadas de
Sintra. We’ll proceed to Mouros’s Castel, Pena’s Palace, Regaleira’s Farm and Roca’s
Cape (the most ocidental point of Europe. As Camões said, “…here, where the
land ends and the sea begins…”. Continues to Guincho’s Beach, Hell’s Mouth (Boca
do Inferno), passing through Cascais, Estoril and return to Lisbon by Marginal’s
road, a road with an amazing view always accompanying the sea. Return to the
hotel.
Day 4 - Tour Évora - Departure
from the hotel at 9:00 to Évora. Visit
the medieval Village of Monsaraz and then, going to the center, we’ll visit the
ruins of Diana’s Temple, Évora’s Cathedral, S. Francisco’s Church and Bone’s
Chapel. Return to Lisbon and to the hotel;If there’s interest, we can go to a
winery to taste some wine.
Day 5 - Serra da Estrela - Check-out and departure from the hotel at 9:00 am, destination Serra da Estrela, passing Covilhã at the foot of the Serra and then climbing (we will reach a maximum altitude of almost 2,000 meters), before the top we pass a locality, Penhas da Cheers and we stop for lunch. After lunch we head to the top of Serra da Estrela, the Tower where is the only sky resort in Portugal; Then we will start going down to the other side of the mountain, stop in the village of Sabugueiro, the highest inhabited place in Portugal and where we can see the Serra da Estrela dogs, taste the mountain sausages and what many consider the best cheese in the world. : The Serra Cheese !; We will continue down until reaching the opposite foothills of the Serra, in the city of Seia and follow the way to Porto, check in at the hotel;
Day 6- Cruise in Douro - Departure from the
hotel at 7:45 ( unless the location of the hotel lead us to depart earlier)
08H15 – Board in Cais de Gaia.
08h30–Departure to Régua.
08h45 – Breakfast on board.
09h45 – Crestuma/Lever’s Dam. Locking. Difference of 14 meters.
12h30 – Appetizer.
12H45 – Carrapatelo’s Dam. Locking. Difference of 35 meters.
13h15 – Lunch on board.
16h00 –Arrival to Régua.Landing of passengers.
18h08 – Departure by train or bus until Oporto.
20h30 – Arrival to Porto.
08h30–Departure to Régua.

Day 7 - Régua - Douro –Departure of the hotel at 9:00 to
Régua. Walking in Régua’s Marginal and lunch; Departure at 14:00 to Crasto’s
Farmwith a ride trhough Douro’s slopes. Wine tasting at 15:30 with 5
wines. Departure to Oporto.
Day 8 - City Tour Porto - Check-Out and departure from the
hotel at 9:00, walking through the center passing by the highlights of the
city like Santa Catarina’s Avenue, Majestic’s Coffee Shop, Bolhão’s Traditional Market, Lello’s Book store, Aliados’s
Square, Clérigos’s Tower, S. Bento’s train station, and then, walk up to the Sé Cathedral, coming down by the medieval
street from Sé’s Hood until Ribeira passing trhough S. Francisco’s Church and Stock
Exchange’s Palace. Visit to Caves Ferreira’s winery. You’ll try a
wine tasting after this ride, in Caves Ferreira Winery with 5 Premium Porto.
Day 9 - Return to Lisbon, check-in at the hotel or directly to the Porto airport;

Day 1
- Transfer from Lisbon’s airport
to Lisbon Hotel for check-in.
- City Tour Lisboa – Departure
from the hotel. We’ll start to visit Eduardo VII’s Park, Downtown of Lisbon, Lisbon’s Sé Cathedral, Cerca Moura (Mirante), S.
Jorge’s Castel, Graça, Mouraria and Alfama, Nation’s Park (Parque das Nações), Jeronimo’s Monastery, Belém’s Cake (Pastel
de Belém), Belém’s Tower and Descobrimentos’s Monument. Return to the hotel; Departure
from the hotel at 19:30 to have dinner at Casa de Fados Morgadinha de Alfama. After
dinner and the Fado, we’ll return to the hotel;
Day 2
- Tour Sintra -

Palace, stop in ther center of Sintra’s
Village with possibility to visit the
Nacional Palace of Sintra, walk in her old streets and taste the famous
Travesseiros or Queijadas de Sintra. After it, we will proceed to Mouro’s Castel
and Pena’s Palace, Roca’s Cape ( the most ocidental point of Europe. As Camões

Day 3
- Tour Fátima - Departure from the hotel at9:00, stop in a factory of religious
articles (they’re cheaper than in Fatima’s stores and if you want you can bless them at the sanctuary).
After it, we’ll visit the house where the little 3 Shepherdshave lived in
Aljustrel, and where occured the first apparition of Our Lady of Fátima.Then,
we’ll visit the sanctuary, visit Batalha to see the wonderful Batalha’s
Monastery and then we follow to Óbidos.There, we’ll see the Medieval Village
and taste the famous liquor Ginjinha.Return to Lisbon and to the hotel.
Day 4
- Tour Évora– Departure
from the hotel at 9:00 with destination to Évora to visit the medieval village
of Monsaraz. After it, we’ll see the Ruins of Diana’s Temple, Évora’s Cathedral,
S. Francisco’s Church and Bone’s Chapel. Visit to Adega Cartuxa’s Winery with taste
of 3 wines. Departure at sunset to
Lisbon and the hotel.
Day 5
- Serra da Estrela -
Check-out and departure from the hotel at 9:00, with destination to Serra da
Estrela, passing through Covilhã (We will reach an altitude of almost 2000m), we’ll
go to the top of Serra da Estrela where you can find the only existing ski
station in Portugal; Then, we’ll start to come down, to the other side of the
mountain to have a stop in Sabugueiro, the highest place inhabited in Portugal
and where we can see the breed of puppies of Serra da Estrela, taste the
mountain’s sausages and the tipical cheese, considered by many as the best of
the world: Queijo da Serra! We’ll keep going down until arrive Seia and proceed
the trip until Oporto city. Check-in at the hotel;
Day 6
- Porto City Tour– Departure from the hotel at 9:00,
walking through the center passing
by the highlights of the city like Santa Catarina’s Avenue, Majestic’s Coffee Shop, Bolhão’s
Traditional Market, Lello’s Book
store, Aliados’s Square, Clérigos’s Tower, S. Bento’s train station, andthen, walk up to the Sé
Cathedral, coming down by the medieval street from Sé’s Hood until Ribeira
passing trhough S. Francisco’s Church and Stock Exchange’s Palace.
After lunch we’ll make a cruise in Douro’s River in a traditional boat. You’ll
try a wine tasting after this ride, in Caves Ferreira with 5 Premium Porto; Return
to the hotel;
Day 7
- Check-out from the hotel,
transfer to Oporto’s airport or Lisbon
airport;
Return of the team to Lisbon...

ÉVORA TOUR
ÉVORA PRIVATE TOUR
Évora, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a museum sightseeing city with a vast historical and cultural wealth. The ruins of the Temple of Diana are a good example of the Roman presence in the city and the cathedral is an example of medieval times. The historic centre of Évora is surrounded by walls built in the XVII century.
Back in Lisbon we pass the Alentejo village of Arraiolos located about 20 km northwest of Evora. Highlight is the Castle (the XIV century), and the Lord of the steps of the church (rebuilt in the nineteenth century)
We can not fail to visit the famous Arraiolos carpets. The Arraiolos carpets are carpets embroidered in wool, with the stitch with the same name, on a jute fabric, cotton or linen, generation after generation in knowledge
